TNT logistics centre

The logistics centre is situated on the Heinenkamp II industrial estate in Wolfsburg. TNT Logistics GmbH operates the facility for Auto 5000 GmbH. Services include receiving, storing, order preparation and shipping as well as empty container handling. This logistics centre supplies the Auto 5000 GmbH production facilities at the Volkswagen plant in Wolfsburg. The building consists of a high-bay storage zone and a block storage zone with a total area of 10,000 sqm as well as 1,500 sqm of office space and social facilities in the recessed top storeys. 2,400 sqm of the exterior space is covered with shed roofs freely projecting up to 15 m. The facades are realised as reinforced concrete sandwich facades and sheet steel/insulated facades. The supporting structure of the hall is made of F-90 precast reinforced concrete elements.
