BREMER won karldischinger logistikdienstleister GmbH & Co. KG with architectural office OAI Haller Architekten as a new client and was awarded the contract to construct a new logistics hall on the company's site. The facility is designed as a six aisle double-depth warehouse with 6 automated storage and retrieval systems and connecting pallet conveyors. The hall is constructed without central columns and, in addition to the high-bay warehouse, incorporates a receiving and shipping area, including loading port, and a small single-storey office. The existing building is connected with the new one by a stairwell. Both the logistics hall and the receiving/shipping area are kept at a temperature of 15-25°C for pharmaceutical products. Structural alteration and renovation work is also still ongoing in the existing buildings. When the project is completed, karldischinger will have more than 30,000 pallet bays for pharmaceutical products at its disposal.
