Logistics building

turnkey

May 2014 – Dec. 2014

Like all the occupant's distribution centres, the building is based on a modular concept, permitting flexible adaptation to local distribution area requirements. The handling hall features 42-metre-long reinforced concrete girders spanning the space in which the sorting system is located. Precise construction planning as well as on-time realisation by BREMER ensure that the complex conveying system can be installed early. The construction period as a whole will thus be significantly shortened. As in the case of all the occupant's buildings, the facade comprises a reinforced concrete sandwich base topped with a continuous row of windows and an insulated steel facade with a Deutsche Post yellow finish.
LOGISTICS EXPERTISE AS AN ALL-INCLUSIVE PACKAGE – International parcel service provider DHL is steadily expanding its network of distribution centres in Germany to enhance the logistics network of parent Deutsche Post. BREMER expertise in the turnkey construction of these buildings is harnessed here for the first time by logistics and industrial property specialist Habacker for the new mechanised distribution centre at Waiblingen.
