Finke high-bay ware­house (constr. stage 2)

The project continues a decades-long partnership. The 7-storey building is a further addition to the central logistics site of furniture retailer Finke. With an area of 3,500 sq m, the building extends over a total of 7 storeys connected by 3 high-performance lifts for transporting incoming and outgoing goods. With an overall height of 30 m, the building is a "prominent" project in Paderborn, a bracing core structure with wall panels and floor slabs constructed entirely of precast elements. The high building loads of up to 1,700 t per column are transmitted to the subsoil by a shallow foundation.
