Description of the facility

BREMER is building a parcel distribution centre for the GLS parcel service provider in Potsdam on behalf of the project developer AURELIS. BREMER also prepared the building application.

The property is divided into 3 hall sections (main building for delivery and two dispatch wings), a social annex and a prestigious multi-storey office building.
The halls are equipped with a total of 171 external gates. The complete building is heated by an underfloor heating system. The heating system is supplied by district heating from Potsdam municipal utilities.

The spacious outdoor facilities are designed to ensure that delivery and dispatching traffic runs smoothly in 3-shift operation. Access from the car parks to the building is over a footbridge for reasons of staff safety.
